Aiping Gao - In demand

Summer is here once again. although we do wonder if it is summer sometimes as it is raining again and temperature is only about 14 degrees Celsius. I have been demanded by my old work place to do some interesting work down in Putney way tomorrow. And then next week I have to be in N8 the day before I travel to France. In the meantime my friend CO wants to travel to somewhere. We have now decided on Antwerp in July. Maybe we will get a diamond each. So much travelling and so much planning. Life is like a peach - juicy and tasty if only we can have it more often.

Aiping Gao - feeling positive

The world is such a nice place when people are kind to each other and talk to each other. We can see the beauty in everything including human nature. Although the Bible argues there was the original sin, we Chinese do believe the true goodness in human nature. Is it possible to be born evil when there is so much beauty in abundance? I have faith in human nature's kindness to overcome all that wickedness. After all those crooks only want to live the high life without working their butts off. I'm particularly touched today by our gardener C's kindness. He dropped over some lovely geraniums in red, pink and mauve. I do adore flowers. Having potted them out, they look rather fabulous on the patio. even the cat thinks they are nice. Cheers C! And long live friendship and kindness!

Aiping Gao's new paintings

Yet another work in progress painting. This is a reminder of the sheer beauty presented by these tall elegant pencil cypress trees you see in Tuscany. They simply add a new dimension to the landscape - very unstated.

Aiping Gao's new paintings

This is a new effort I have endeavoured to paint for one's amusement or should it be musing. The picture is almost finished. The setting is great for the cats to sit there appreciating the beautiful sunrise. A feeling I sometimes have - it's a bit like the Taoist doing nothingness which can be very relaxing.
